Myself, some custom Elin companions of mine will always have dark faces upon a fresh install even if I copy over previously working facetints, and I have to re-export the exact same facetints to get them right. Either clean the mod using TES5Edit or make sure it loads BEFORE Live Another Life so that it won’t cause the new game menu to get stuck. Like I use Inhabitants of Skyrim for my NPC overhauling needs, and Lami in Morthal just does not come out right. Become High King of Skyrim Edits MQ101, though it’s a dirty edit. There are 3 things required to change an NPC appearance: 1, ESP entry for NPC adjustments, which you can see in Creation Kit or TES5Edit. To understand why these bug occurs, we need to understand where is the problem. NPC appearance problems, dark face and neck gap are so common, especially when we started to install multiple NPC appearance mods.
